Adult and children’s Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings at 10:00 preceding morning worship. Sunday School is a great time to supplement the teaching we hear from the pulpit. Currently the adult Sunday School is working through a study of covenant theology. If you are interested in children’s Sunday School please contact us so our teachers can be prepared with lessons for the appropriate age groups. We hope you can join us for this great time of learning!
Join us for a time of prayer, learning and fellowship in each other’s homes! Discipleship groups meet about twice a month in various homes of our congregation. There are two groups – north and south. The North Discipleship Group (meeting Wednesdays) is intended for those closest to the Flemington/Clinton/Bridgewater area and the South Discipleship Group (meeting Mondays) is intended for those closest to the Lambertville/Hopewell/Princeton area.
Monthly Prayer Meeting
Prayer is an important part of our weekly worship but we also meet monthly for an hour of prayer. The prayer meetings typically consist of a time of learning about prayer and then praying in small groups and as a large group. Please see the website calendar for the next upcoming prayer meeting.
Women’s Bible Studies
You are warmly welcomed to join the women of Calvary for time in God’s Word! This twice a month time of fellowship and study has two options. One group meets two Monday mornings per month at 10AM studying through 1 & 2 Peter and the other group meets two Thursday evenings per month discussing the book Extravagant Grace. See the website calendar for more details.
Please feel free to call the church for additional information! All women are welcome!
Nursing Home and Care Center Ministries
We sing hymns, pray, and greet the residents- but most importantly, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ from Scripture. Please pray for this ministry!
Fellowship Meals and Meetings
In addition to normal gatherings for Worship Services and meetings, we gather together as a congregation for monthly Fellowship Meals (potluck style – guests are very welcome!), occasional meals, and summer BBQs. Please see the website calendar for the next upcoming fellowship meal following morning worship.
We try to regularly share the good news about Christ in our local community and make our neighbors aware of who we are and what we believe. For example, for the last several years we’ve had the opportunity to do this at the Hunterdon County 4-H & Agricultural Fair by handing out free materials and engaging in discussions over the course of several days. We are always looking for ways to reach out with transparency and clarity.
