Sunday School
Adult and children’s Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings at 10:00 preceding morning worship. Sunday School is a great time to supplement the teaching we hear from the pulpit. Currently the adult Sunday School is working through a study of the Holy Spirit. If you are interested in children’s Sunday School please contact us so our teachers can be prepared with lessons for the appropriate age groups. We hope you can join us for this great time of learning!
Flemington Circle Book Study
The Flemington Circle Book Study is a casual time for discussion, questions, and fellowship. All who are interested are welcome to attend and participate. The study takes place on Wednesday nights, twice a month, at 7 PM at the church. See the website calendar for the next meeting details.
Currently we are studying the book Always Ready: Directions for Defending the Faith by Dr. Greg Bahnsen. Contact us to be placed on the email chain.
Please feel free to call the church for more details. Copies of the book are available as needed. We hope you’ll join us!
Women’s Bible Study
You are warmly welcomed to join the women of Calvary for a bi-weekly time in God’s Word! This time of fellowship around the Word of God currently takes place on Monday mornings or Thursday evenings (two options available) every other week. Currently we are studying the book of Romans. See the website calendar for more details.
Please feel free to call the church for additional information! All women are welcome!
Nursing Home and Care Center Ministries
(currently on hold due to COVID-19)
Join us every second Sunday of the month to minister the Gospel to the residents of the Rolling Hills Care Center.
We sing hymns, pray, and greet the residents- but most importantly, we preach the Good News of Jesus Christ from Scripture. Please pray for this ministry!
Fellowship Meals and Meetings
(currently on hold due to COVID-19)
In addition to normal gatherings for Worship Services and meetings, we gather together as a congregation for monthly Fellowship Meals (potluck style – guests are very welcome!), occasional meals, and summer BBQs. Please see the website calendar for the next upcoming fellowship meal following morning worship.
Community Outreach and Evangelism
We try to regularly share the good news about Christ in our local community and make our neighbors aware of who we are and what we believe. For example, for the last several years we’ve had the opportunity to do this at the Hunterdon County 4-H & Agricultural Fair by handing out free materials and engaging in discussions over the course of several days. We are always looking for ways to reach out with transparency and clarity.
Monthly Prayer Meeting
Prayer is an important part of our weekly worship but we also meet monthly for an hour of prayer. The prayer meetings typically consist of a time of learning about prayer and then praying in small groups and as a large group. Please see the website calendar for the next upcoming prayer meeting.
